近日，京都律师事务所律师魏东达接受CLT International（CLTI）聘任，作为外部顾问，担任STEP高级证书课程阅卷人。后续，魏律师将参与到STEP高级证书课程的阅卷工作。

　　Recently,Mr Dongda Wei from the King&Capital Family Trust Legal Affairs Center(FTLAC)has been appointed by CLT International(CLTI)as an External Panel member to serve as a Marker for the STEP Advanced Certificate courses.Going forward,Mr Wei will participate in the marking work for the STEP Advanced Certificate courses.

　　

　　CLTI是STEP的主要培训提供商。STEP是一家全球专业机构，拥有超过22,000名会员，其成员包括律师、会计师、受托人及其他帮助家庭规划未来的从业者。20多年来，STEP与CLTI紧密合作，开发符合从业者需求的资格证书与培训课程，并为STEP的会员考试路径提供支持。完成这些项目后，学员可获得专业资格证书及STEP会员资格。

　　CLT International is the primary training provider for STEP,the global professional body with over 22,000 members,comprising lawyers,accountants,trustees,and other practitioners who help families plan for their futures.For more than 20 years,STEP and CLTI have collaborated closely to develop qualifications and training courses tailored to practitioners’needs,supporting STEP’s exam route to membership.Upon completion of these programmes,students can obtain professional qualifications and STEP membership.

　　据了解，STEP高级证书课程阅卷人需承担首次阅卷、严格遵循评分标准确保评估公平严谨、参与质量保障流程（如交叉阅卷人一致性校准）、撰写建设性反馈等职责，是维护STEP学术标准与考核公正性的关键角色。此次受聘外部专家，不仅是CLTI对魏律师专业能力的信任，更体现了行业对他在国际信托领域专业认知与判断力的认可。

　　It is understood that the role of Marker for the STEP Advanced Certificate programme entails responsibilities such as conducting initial marking,strictly adhering to marking criteria to ensure fair and rigorous assessment,participating in quality assurance processes(e.g.,cross-checking Marker consistency calibration),and providing constructive feedback.This role is crucial to upholding STEP’s academic standards and the impartiality of assessments.This appointment as an external panel member not only reflects CLTI’s trust in Mr Wei’s professional competence but also demonstrates the industry's recognition of his professional knowledge and judgment in the international trust sector.

　　Speaking of the appointment,Mr Wei remained humble:"The standard of the STEP marks the professional consensus of international trusts practising.As a candidate who systematically studied four core courses,I dedicated a year and a half to in-depth study and was awarded a Diploma with Distinction.This experience provided me with a profound understanding of the structural framework and practical orientation of CLTI and STEP-related courses,as well as first-hand recognition of the industry’s high regard for such professionally rigorous and practice-oriented programmes.Now,transitioning from a candidate to a marker,I am honoured and feel a sense of responsibility to participate as an external panel member.This appointment not only represents a new extension of my professional but also proudly continues our team,the FTLAC’s legacy of expertise in trusts.In the future,I will strictly adhere to the guidelines in performing my duties,ensuring rigorous grading while also expecting to gain diverse practical perspectives from candidates’answers.I look forward to working alongside industry talents to promote the implementation of professional standards in this industry."
